
Special Education@ Sir William Mulock Secondary School
Students who have been identified with a learning exceptionality are eligible for a variety of placement options. The following placements are possible:

Fully self-contained classrooms (for students identified through an IPRC as Autistic, with a Mild Intellectual Disability or a Developmental Disability).

Learning Strategies Courses (1 credit in each of Grade 9, 10, and 11) for students taking Applied or Academic courses and who have been identified through an IPRC as needing withdrawal.

Resource: where a Special Education Teacher works periodically in the classroom with a Subject Teacher.

Monitoring: students in a regular 4 credit timetable receive support from a Special Education Teacher who collaborates with subject teachers and monitors student progress.
