SCHOOL VOYAGEURS INTERNATIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

REGISTRATION AND DEPOSIT PAYMENTS:
·         To register for your tour, completed Registration Forms must be returned to the school with your deposit with Cancellation Insurance fees and your post-dated payments. You can also register online at www.schoolvoyageurs.com.
·         Registration must be complete in order to receive confirmation of participation in the tour.
·         Deposits can be paid by cheque or credit card
·         Deposits can be sent to the school, or to School Voyageurs - online, by mail, or by phone. 
·         Deposits are non-refundable.
·         Cancellation Insurance must be purchased at time of deposit.
·         Deposit amounts and payment dates are due and payable on the date shown on the contract sent to the school.
Note: Additional deposit monies may be required to confirm tour components such as airline tickets, theatre tickets and admissions to special events. Separate cancellation conditions apply.
INTERIM AND FINAL PAYMENTS:
·         Interim (post-dated) and final payments can be paid by cheque or credit card
·         Interim and final payments can be sent to the school, or to School Voyageurs - online, by mail, or by phone. 
·         Interim and final payment dates are due and payable on the date shown on the contract sent to the school.
·         Should group size fall below the minimum numbers quoted, the overall cost of the tour will increase and/or empty seat surcharges will apply.
·         All payments are non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:
·         Deposits, interim, and final payments are non-refundable. 
·         Cancellation Insurance fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. 
·         If the entire group cancels, the above conditions apply. 
·         If individuals cancel, causing the group size to fall below the minimum numbers quoted, the overall cost of the tour will increase and/or empty seat surcharges will apply.
DEPARTURE TAXES:
·         Departure taxes are not included in the cost of the tour and are subject to change without notice by the airline.
NSF CHEQUES:
·         NSF cheques from individuals are charged an administration fee of $30 and must be replaced by a certified cheque prior to travel. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the student and an increase in cost for the balance of the participants if group size falls below the minimum numbers.
SUBSTITUTIONS AND CHANGES:
·         No changes to number of passengers, substitution of passengers, or alterations to the itinerary will be accepted within 60 days of departure.
DOCUMENTATION:
·         It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure he or she has the proper documentation for entry into another country. Canadian citizens traveling to other countries must carry a valid Canadian passport. Passengers who are not Canadian citizens must make the appropriate inquiries to obtain the correct documentation. Please attach a copy of your passport along with your registration form and deposit.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Educatours Ltd operating as School Voyageurs – TICO registration 2422707R. Educatours Ltd. Operating as School Voyageurs acts solely as organizer of the tour offered and is responsible for making all reservations and charting the routes as outlined but it is expressly understood and agreed between the tour organizer and the passengers that Educatours Ltd. Operating as School Voyageurs or its agents shall not be held responsible for: a) non-performance on the part of any hotel or other accommodation for any act or omission that cannot be directly attributed to the neglect of the tour organizers; b) any delays, mis-connections, loss, damage or injury to persons or property or for mechanical defects or failure, however caused or for any substitution of hotels or carrier equipment beyond the control of the tour operator, or for any additional expenses occasioned thereby; c) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration whether physical or mental however caused except where caused directly by the tour operator; d) any additional costs incurred or any ancillary loss sustained as a result of cancellations or delays of tours caused by inclement weather conditions, acts of God, or any other event, which results in one or more persons being unable to continue or complete the tour through no direct fault of the organizers, The tour organizer reserves the right to make any changes before or during the tour for the comfort and enjoyment of the passengers. All tour itineraries are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice. Educatours Ltd. Operating as School Voyageurs shall have no responsibilities beyond the right to decline any person as a member of the tour at any time before or during the tour should such person’s presence be considered detrimental to the interest, comfort and safety of the other members. Persons leaving the tour during the operation will not receive a refund of unused services. Educatours Ltd operating as School Voyageurs, its agents and all passengers agree that the conditions set out herein are part of the terms between the passenger and the tour organizers. Authorization of the tour or any deposit given to the tour organizer will represent an acceptance by the passenger of all the aforementioned conditions.
I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SCHOOL VOYAGEURS AND I ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THIS REGISTRATION FORM WILL SERVE AS A BINDING AGREEMENT WITH SCHOOL VOYAGEURS.
