The History Department at Sir William Mulock Secondary School encourages students to develop knowledge, skills and values they need to become responsible citizens and informed participants in Canadian democracy in the twenty-first century. The courses offered in this discipline will contribute significantly to students understanding of their heritage and the social, cultural, governmental and economic structures and relationships which have influenced the development of Canada and the world. Character Education plays an important role in each of the courses offered in this discipline.
